I looked at your latest comic and noticed you changed your style a little bit, I think it's awsome, what exactly did you change in the process?

well, I like it a lot. Are you going to continue inking in photoshop or are you going back to inking by hand?

Hawk man, i don't wnat to be a bad reader or anything, but i don't really like your new art, i prefered your old art, i am not sure it is only the photoshop inking what you changed, it is more with the illumination, there's no glow or something but please go back to the before art, it is up to you of course but please at least think about it.

EDIT: ok

I personally find your art to be quite nice actually. It's not worse, nor is it better, than you previous form of art. It's different, and I really enjoy seeing your skill at work. I look forward to comics the comics you guys make because the story is great and funny, and the art is simply magnificent. So, just draw whatever you feel is right to draw, and I'll admire it.  Grin

For me, art is a personal expression so to have someone say, go back to your olld style, I'd have to say... uhm... no.  Also, keep in mind that an artists style can grow and mature as time goes on.

That can actually be true of both Hawk and Ananth (as both are artists in their own respective fields).  Smiley

For anyone who has drawn for a long period of time, they know a change in style is most likely a way to seek improvement over their previous. Hawks changes from time to time or from comic to comic, which helps to keep coming back to it. if he drew the same way for years and years he would have probably gotten tired of it. I think the Arch where eve went renegade was the best, his style went from very clean, to gritty, then to a very serious style, he shows alot of range and that he probably still seeking improvement. for an artist there is nothing better.

Hawk make sure you don't change your art for some guy's lazy critique though, if you enjoy the way you draw, draw that way  Smiley

eh, everyone complains when you make a change to the art. but technically, who amongst the ag fans could do better then the creator. plus, no matter what change has happened in the art style. ithe art blows me away every time. it is impossible for me to think negative about your art. i've pretty much seen it all,  looked up the cgportfolio. and kept up with the blogspot for as long as it lasted. and im blown away everytime your pen hits the screen, or a pencil to paper, in any case. you rock no matter.

I was just browsing some of the older comics and thought they looked a little different from what i remember.  Not because your style changed, but because the lighting felt updated.  Is this just me or have you been adding more sheen to the light sources on some of the older strips?

maybe it's just me.
also, i have no problem with the previous or your present style.
