alright, well ive made this post mainly because i wanted to know if there was any way to get a better line out of the pen tool, than just the very bland blank lines it can create.
i was looking for a line that would start thin, go thicker, and end thin  --===---
something kinda like that i guess...
anyway, any help would be appreciated

yes, i am working with a mouse, ive yet to come up with the money for a tablet

Well if you dont have a tablet the what you can do is select a brush style. In your Brush Palette go the the menu and select 'open brush libery' and select the 'Artistic_ink', another palette should open up. At the bottom of that list should be the one your looking for.   You can also make your own custom brush if you want.
