Hey MR Hawk... i have a question for ya

i was wondering, those electronic drawing board thingies... what are they realy called and from where can i order one... been looking for weeks and haven't been able to find one  Huh

it's for a friends birthday... witch is in 3 weeks...

Yeah, the Cintiq 21ux, like Hawk has, costs $2500. For a beginner, just go for a Graphire. Yeah, it doesnt have a built in display, but those cost less than a hundred (and trust me, you get used to looking at the screen while drawing instead of where the stylus is)

Or you could also get a genius tablet, it is very cheap compared to the wacom tablets, it may not be as good as a wacom, but it still worths it, so try to find one and ask about the things it has that wacom hasn't and vicweversa, so you dicede which one to buy
