I'm not looking foward to I,Robot.

mostly because I suspect they'll change so much of the short story that it'll be unrecognisable except in name and general premise.

Then again... Will Smith will probably make a good lead. so it'll be entertaining just for that.

it would obviously have to end up like that, for loads of reasons one of which being to entrtain the viewers, but even if that wasnt just it there would have to be more, because since its a SHORT STORY, it would have to be expanded to meet certain needs.to define the story much more. the movie is practically a modernization, of a short story. its also added on. the short story is the core plot of the movie. Robots with the 3 laws safe and something going terribly wrong. the movie does justice to the story. not harm.
