My mom will accept money orders, I'll PM you her address and tell her you're going to send her one.

I can't thank you guys enough.

In barely a day, you guys have donated a little over 500 dollars.

I called my mom various times yesterday telling her updates on the account, and she was beyond words, she was almost crying from happiness and kept telling me to tell you guys thanks.

our next auction will be for your mom.

... Thank you Hawk.

I am too young to have a Paypal account, but when I get some cash, I'll find a way to send it your way, until then, my thoughts and hopes are with your mother.

Wow Hawk, you rock! That's bound to raise at least a few hundred more... I actually feel like bidding just to jack up the price... is that wrong, in this case? It's for a good cause and all...

As long as when you jack the price up... you won't be  stuck with paying for it.. Wink

Well I don't have much in my PayPal account right now, but what's in there, I sent. Best of luck to you and yours. Your mom's lucky to have someone like you pulling for her and out there helping her out, and it's a wonderful thing to have a community like this to pull together and do something.

Good morning OrcishIncubus - been reading Applegeeks for a about a month trying to catch up from day one of the comic. I had no idea there was a forum here, until Mr. P mentioned your post.

This is no ordinary forum or ordinary website. Lots of love out here Smiley

I want to help, but i'm not too paypal savvy. I'll get money to you when I figure out how to get it started. It wont be much and I send you my humble apologies for the timing of my contribution.

Tread water, friend.

Love to you and family,

G.W!

I don't want to sound crude, rude, or mean, but some things just aren't settling right.  I do find it noble and beneficial that people are donating, don't get me wrong here I just have too many questions that are unsettling.

One of which is, why is your mother able to still move around after a tumor shattered a vertebrae?  That sort of damage would cause damage to the spinal column and cause paralysis.

Second with Pheochromocytomas, there is only a small chance of recurrence of tumors and those are completely treatable with controlled radiation, which yes can cause illness, but radiation treatment drops the recurrence rate to an even smaller percent.

I'm sorry, but there are too many questions for me to feel comfortable to donate.

I'm a long-time reader, but not much of a poster.  When I saw this in Annath's rant I had to check it out.

I know what it's like to have family in and out of the hospital, and I know that every little bit helps in those times.

I'll be sending in a donation as soon as some funds transfer.  Like a lot of us, it isn't much, but a little help from a large community like this can do wonders.  Cheesy
