Yeah i've been pondering this for a while too, I finally got round to emailing hawk about it. Hopefully he's not got too many similar emails Smiley I considered it might be a deliberate choice to reward regular visitors of the site.. but seeing as rss is the way the web is going at the moment I guessed that it was just not a priority at the time.

AG lite has been added to the regular AG RSS feed.

If you want just the AG lite comics...

This may come across as a newbie question, but what the hell is an RSS feed? I think I also heard the term used on Megatokyo. When I click on one of the links you just gave, I see a really weird series of code. Same goes for the other one. What's the point and use of an RSS feed, and what does RSS stand for?

Really Simple Syndication. Basically its a web feed format, that lets you view web content and links to full web content. Its essentially a simple way to deliver large amounts of news, information, and other web content.

The links do not work in most standard web browsers, but do work in things like Safari. Additionally, you can do a google search for RSS program to get many, many programs that handle RSS feeds for you.

Firefox also supports RSS Feeds, as well as the new IE7 Beta. Haven't fooled around much with IE7, but for Firefox, if a page has an RSS feed, a little orange icon will appear in the lower right corner, and if you click on it, you can add a "live bookmark" to your bookmarks folder.

Also, Google's personalized homepage supports RSS feeds, and the latest Google Toolbar for Firefox is another way to subscribe to RSS feeds easily. (Google Toolbar can either add the RSS Feed to your Google Homepage, which is the default, or make a live bookmark).

My only complaint about the AG Lite RSS Feed is that the links are not labeled (All they say is "AG Lite-"), so I can't tell if a new one has come out.

if there's a similar option to "article length" that is in Safari (as above), it may be switched to a shorter summary, cutting off about half of the RSS article title. just a guess...

firefox doesn't allow one to view rss feeds like safari. they are viewed in a scrolldown folderesque bar.

One question, will the RSS feed work with OS X's RSS screensaver? I know I can pick up news articles and stuff on it, but it would be cool to pick up on AppleGeeks using the screen saver. Cheesy

EDIT: Nevermind...I figured it out. XD Gotta add it as a bookmark in Safari...which...I'm considering going back to using since FireFox has been driving me mad lately. @.@

Actually, I get that in Firefox for OSX as well.  Perhaps I don't have a setting right or something, but the RSS feeds for most sites don't ever seem to work for me.  (Oddly enough, PA's will)
