Hmm... just joined today, because I noticed a MAJOR descrepancy.  The writing forum has 1 topic, 4 posts... and the artwork has oh..  9,000 posts or something along those lines.

Come on, people!  You can't tell me that NONE of you have any writing to share!  I've clicked on a few of your webcomics in your siggies... those didn't come from thin air!  (well, some of them might, but not the vast majority...)

So, out of idle curiousity, what would be permissible to post here in the writing forum?  Would anyone be interested in writing critiques, that sort of thing?  Various fiction pieces?

Oh, and hi all.  Smiley  *waves*

Oh!  Well, that's a little better then. :p  Ok, what to post... how about a story that I'm writing that I'm currently stuck on chapter four then?  I could definitely use some help to get past my writer's block on it.

I'll make it a new topic, so it doesn't get confuzzled with this topic.

Ohh!

Yay I love writing! It's such fun to write in such a way that leave people scratching their heads in an attempt to solve a small riddle, or to leave them craving more. I'd be happy to participate with some of my own work, and help others by reading what they've posted and giving some suggestions.

I know what you mean about writer's block affecting your work. I've been working on the same piece for almost four years. (Pretty much my own fault. I decided after ch. 30 I was going to alter the POV. *cries* stupid stupid stupid!) But things are moving better now, and the characterization is much tighter and the dialogue is more realistic. So I'm happy.

Just wondering if there are any size restrictions on what I can post here, I mean I could probably write 50+ pages on just one story, but I dont where to post it.. and I don't have my own site... yet.  So what exactly are the size restriction on any pieces we can post?

Well I'm more inclined to read shorter posts.

But then again I'm always going to be writing shorter bits of work.

The main problem would be lack of comments.
That's a big off put for posting stuff.

Simple: Take your story, export it as a .pdf then .zip the file and put it on something like Geocities. I put mine on my own hosting because it's easier for me since I access the space so much. Plus it saves the boys on bandwidth and people can then read it as they want.
