I don't know Captain America's take on this, but I know Tony Stark's against the idea. If you read Amazing Spiderman 530, you'll know that they're going to Washington to talk those crazy senators out of pushing the bill.

Quite the contrary. Iron Man is the biggest supporter. If you read the New Avengers: Illuminati, you'll see how Iron Man and Reed Richards both agree that this is for the best. He actually gets a copy of the bill, and completely agrees with it and tries to get others to agree with him. Perhaps Iron Man is going to support and telling Spidey different. But Marvel has released several times that Captain and Iron Man are on opposing sides, and that Iron Man supports this.

i'm not the biggest spider-man fan (matter of fact, i think he's a nancy boy some days) and i dont even read marvel... however i think the costume is pretty cool.  wen i read this thread for the first time, i went out and read the comic in the supermarket (still aint gon' buy it) and i gotta say that i'm impressed by the costume design and it's functions... however, at the end of the day, give me a superman comic and i'm cool cus i'm from the comicbook old school (prepares for flames)!

Anyone remember that? Good GOD.

I actually got that issue of superman..it was baad. Never got another Superman book again

I still dont get why Capt America and Iron Man are on opposing sides.. Huh

CivilWar is about the superheroes becoming government employees, right? Iron Man things that this is a good thing, and will take away the blame from superheroes blah blah blah.

Meanwhile, Captain America believes that a hero is someone who does the good for their own intentions, not money. That forcing all supes to become something they don't want. So a divide is building.

How it begins to escalate, I don't know. But it all begins in only a few days, so I'm excited. Should prove to be amazing.

Thanks for the clear up  Grin

I agree. Doc. Oc. and Iron Man spit-roasting Spider Man and getting tossed into a Particle Accelerator would most certainly cause such a suit.
