me and my friend were havin an argument the other day about which is better; DC or Marvel.  he says marvel but i say DC all the way.  sure marvel has more movies and crap out but DC is the OG of comicbooks and has waaaay better writing and artwork.  what do u guys say? btw, Batman would OWN Iron Man... if there was ever a power outage, that's it for Tony Stark! XD

Marvel.  I say this because of the options you have with the Marvel characters.  No one character is too over powered *COUGH SUPERMAN COUGH*  and they all have pretty cool powers.  Of all the Characters though Batman is deffinatly the man!  If I had to pick though I'd take a Spiderman comic over Bats any day.  As a matter of fact Spiderman is the only thing I like enough to think about getting a tatoo related to.  That's how much I love Spidey.  Batman is a close second though.
Who would you rather hang out with for a day though, Peter Parker, or Bruce Wayne?

I prefer Marvel to DC.  I think Marvel characters have this sense realism and all have different personalities.  None of them are stereotypical hero's.  Except maybe Captain America.  DC seems to have the whole serious hero, stopping at nothing to save the world, whereas marvel have a certain amount of seriousness but then it just gets funny.

Bruce Wayne, duh. He's so rich you could do ANYTHING.

"Hey Bruce? Can we bomb this Jaguar off of that cliff?"

"Sure, why not, I earn one of these every three seconds!"

Yeah but chillin with Peter Parker would be sweet.  You could totally mack on Mary Jane, and Black Cat... can't remeber her alter ego right now... and all the other hotties who are inexplicably drawn to Parker.

I think the real question here is, Avengers vs X-men.

Marvel wins hands down. Marvel has a vary of characters, but when it comes to DC people are always Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman as the only three characters they recognize. But, I do realize DC kinda wins when it comes to continuity and suprises. Marvel releases all of their storylines like, three months prior. Regardless, Marvel.  Grin

u all are some horrible people, u know that?  Roll Eyes i mean freaking marvel has built it's namesake off "The (not really that) Amazing Spider-Man" and mediocre writing along with pretty okay artwork.  DC has always owned the zone in writing, their artwork never ceases to amaze me and excuse my outright randomness, but yeah, i think i'd wanna hang out with the rich guy! i mean while peter parker attracts those two hot chicks (three if u count gwen stacey), bruce has a new girl every time u see him (two if it's a good day). and the only difference between Clark Kent and Peter Parker is Clark HAS a full-time job at a newspaper and knows the difference between right and wrong regardless of circumstances... pardon me if i'm a bit old school but growing up (and even now), that's what i'd want in a superhero. not some half-wit, barely passed adolescent, college-student with 'spider-like abilities' whose greatest battle is should i go out with MJ tonight or stay home and play bridge with Aunt May and the gals? also has no one ever noticed that everyone in Marvel lives in NYC but whenever some intergalactic villain (ie. Galactus or evil Silver Surfer) attacks, only one title hero is around to save the day? marvel baffles my small mind with it's logic...

Haha, someone is an angry angry man ...

I used to be big into Marvel, but I tend to tilt towards DC these days (if I have to pick one of the two). I'm truthfully a lot more interested in other publishers, like Oni Press, Image, etc. I suppose DC gets my vote, simply because 1. Vertigo and 2. The interplay between Batman and Superman. I love it when these two guys face off, or have a spat (they are totally gay for each other (I kid, I kid) ) ... there's so much more going on than just trying to figure out who is cooler or more powerful, because each one represents an ideology that is at odds with the other.
