Scarring a cat is not that hard. Getting said cat to refrain from scarring you is.

So I am a Pratchett nerd:  Meet Greebo.  He is about 4 months old now and into everything.  He does not look at all like my mental image of the *real* one in the series, but somehow, it fits.
lol - yes, at the moment he looks like a "sweet, harmless kitten", "just a big softy really"
but give him a year or so, then he'll grow into a "ball of pure fury in cat shape" Smiley Smiley

favourite Greebo quote (although nearly all mentions of Greebo are awesome):
Quote
Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
Shawn dived sideways as Greebo went off like a Claymore mine.
"Don't worry about him," said Magrat dreamily, as the elf flailed at the maddened cat. "He's just a big softy."

Just let us know when he turns into a swash-buckling pirate that oozes pure sexual desire and then it'll fit.

I'm sticking with Trotksi for now.

I just finished Mort, it was good. The end was a bit on the almost random side but it's still pretty good. It even has Rincewind in it! Definitely on of my favourites so far.

Pretty much. It's back when he's the Librarian's assistant and such. He holds Albert's staff when he summons Death.

Our other cat is about a year older than Greebo.  My favorite game is when they play 'Tackle'  where although Greebo is about 1/3 the size, he still manages to bowl the other kitty over.

I think my favorite Greebo reference is in the Illustrated Diskworld Companion where they mention that he has discovered that there is a time and place for each form.  And in Witches Abroad where he begs a bowl of fish heads from the cook's helper as a cat, and then later comes back as a human and curls up in front of the fire and she notes that 'there is something familiar about him'  Kiss

And what is with the 2pt font crap?  If it is worth saying, it is worth saying in a readable font.
F*cking well put.
That stuff pisses me off, a lot.

My friend has that. That guy has what the characters look like down to a fine art. Rincewind was perfect. No where else I've seen him and though, "That HAS to be Rincewind." Then again, it's the same guy who did the Lord of The Rings so I'm not too surprised.

It takes a skilled author to eventually be able to throw a few lines in a crowd, and have every reader know exactly who spoke them, without any specific introduction.

And notice how many Brits have done it...
