in related topic, i've seen the Xbox360... and it was good.  somehow, seeing it in person makes it sexier, but none less expensive.  i can either buy an 360 and get evicted from my apartment, or not.  i vote the latter...

I'm gonna wait to buy the 360 just like I waited to buy the Xbox.  Once the intial market starts to die down the prices drop tremendously, plus there are more games on the market.

Look what happened to the Xbox price after a year...  300 to 200, now it's 150!  the 360 is 400 now, 300 after fall, 200 a year later, 150 before next console launch.

So, Microsoft can be sued for discriminatory behavior. They priced the Xbox 360 outside of the poverty level, which means they are discriminating against the poor.

got home with mine a while ago.

Project Gotham Racing 3's graphics are stunning, but I thought it would be... better somehow. I still have to give it a lot of time though to get into it. And I still need a NFS-type racer, so I might return PGR3 and pick up NFS: most wanted instead... we'll see...

Call of Duty 2, though, is absolutely stunning. Physics, graphics, gameplay, effects and particles, all of it. Playing on XBox Live multiplayer in COD is so fun.

i bought some credits to try out the marketplace, and downloaded Penny Arcade's skins for the GUI, and it looks really good too.

woot.

then I hooked up my iPod, and sure enough, got to race around in PGR3 using a playlist I'd created. I like that.

mp3, and i think it plays other formats, but definitely does not play my iTMS music.
