Interesting how things like that have to be reiterated in certain threads. Here, it's instructions for joining the channel (oh well); in the OS X Apps For Newbies, it's asking for a Gimp-like graphics app; in Hawk's Office, it's Issue #xx: Title: Another great comic good job guyz!
(Okay, I guess that last one doesn't count)

Anyway, point is, too bad threads can't have an essential info header (regardless of page), or people can't be forced to start at page 1 if they haven't visited the thread before.

I may have been emo in the channel in the past, but I make a few jokes about myself and I get the boot?! What the hell is that?!

All that info is correct. Just for shits and grins, try punching in irc.aniverse.com instead. I have seen a few occaisions where the direct server address weirded out like that, but the redirect got everything going ok.

Um.... anyone know what that means?

Aniverse seems to be having issues...again. So no worries it should be resolved eventually.

There's not a link, per se. You have to download an IRC client, and just fill in some server/channel information and you're in.

...I'm bad at explaining things, aren't I?

Google IRC clients, download, server and channel information you can find in this thread.

...yep, bad explaination but I give up Smiley

You don't need to apologize, Rose. The information is easily accessible in several areas here and through search engines. If someone's too lazy to click on the first page of a thread they're posting in (using IM-speak, no less), would their contribution to the IRC conversation be of any value whatsoever?
