just watched the season premieres of Stargate SG1, Stargate Atlantis and Battlestar Galactica.

I'm really, really loving how good BG is getting lately. I was worried it would be going downhill, but man, it keeps getting better. I'm loving the rivalry between Adama and Cain and all the way it's turning, and the upcoming mission against the Cylons.

Galactica is a hell of a show and it's really dragging sci-fi into the mainstream with a great story arc, and amazinfgly good character development. I won't be seeing the mid-season pemiere until Monday or Tuesday though Sad

the stargates are good as ever, although I felt like today's Atlantis was a little on the weak side. SG1 was great though.

Even after giving 18-months of my life to the Stargate franchise, I still don't see how this show got to be so popular. It really does baffle me, because all I see are weak stories, ham acting  from all of the cast, poor dialog and shoddy special-effects.

But that'sjust my opinion though...

I can understand that, in fact, I think you have to buy into it completely in order to enjoy it a lot, but I love scifi that much.  Grin

I loved the movie and the ideas that it brought around, especially in expanding a scifi universe that much into the series, which is what I like. looking back though, the first seasons were corny as hell, but I think theyve better adapted their characters over the years. Plus... they had MacGuyver.

Yu-Gi-Oh! GX

You know how you don't like a show, but you just can't turn the channel?  That's how I feel.

Appleseed the movie - not bad - probably more acceptable to mainstream than the Final Fantasy movie was (as far as CG anime goes). Some seriously nice animation in it though.

I'm seriously addicted to Iron Chef. The American one is ok, but I love the original the best. I just have to know which cusine will rain supreme! And then watch the cute little chinkies eat the disqusting little soups with the fish still staring at them.  Tongue

Re-watching the first four episodes of Kitchen Confidential and mourning.

All the shows I like get cancelled.

I just watched my roommate squeal over the previews for the Full Metal Alchemist movie and then scream over Kingdom Hearts 2 and yell about Riku x_X

But personally, I'm watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer, fifth season. And Batman Begins
