Hello.  Grin

I'm new to the forums.
    It said to do this.
I guess its a social thing.  Smiley

Been enjoying Applegeeks for awhile now. Bumped into the comic when Eve sliced the PC in half and blew up the Apple store. I've continue to follow it ever since. I figured I'd stop lurking in the forums and actually register & post.

Although its been said all over this forum, I must say that Haque and Panagariya have done a great job in so many ways.  Thanks guys!

Umm.. now what else would be interesting?

I've owned one Apple product in my life so far, which was a hardworking iPod Nano (2G?) that I unfortunately lost some time ago. At one point, it got slammed in the door of my truck, which gave it a nice curve and spidered the LCD. Thanks to a little kit I bought online, I was able to replace the screen, straighten the metal backing and it worked great until I couldn't find it one day.  :'(

Hey everybody.  I'm Nick, I've been reading this comic for who knows how many years now.  It change my point of view on Apple and I own many of their products now.  I'm 19 and in college - I'm a culinary arts major and learning massage therapy on the side.  Music is my life, as well as my friends.  I can be fairly lazy, but once I get motivated, I have an incredible drive.  Anyway...I figured I'd officially introduce myself.  So, hi!

Heya, my name is Max and my friends just call me "Max Power"...I´m from Germany, so excuse grammar mistakes. Stumbled over this comic a few weeks ago, so it was "hard work" to read all the comics so far. My only apple product was an Ipod nano (2gb, version) which was replaced by a Sony Erricson walkman handy Cheesy
This little guy followed me wherever I was going and he had a hard time --sturdy little thing, falling down 2 floors and it just had a few scratches and a dent in the aluminum case. But I think my next cell phone will be an Iphone  Cheesy.

I stumbled over this comic a few weeks ago (I shall bow down ashamed that I didn´t find it earlier).
Simply can say: Hyper awesome work guys! May this comic last for eternity and beyond  Cool

Well lets see, I am a writing and Japanese language Major with a minor in Art. I have been working on my own comic for the past few months and though I feel I am ready for the internet a lack of funds prevents me from getting a decent Tablet. The Wacom Cintiq is sick but it also costs as much as my car. I stumbled upon AG at Otakon in 06'. I say stumbled because my friend dragged me to it while I was sick insisting it to be good for my health. I browsed the booth and remembered the sight name. I now realize there are two types of cosplayers, those who should and those who most definitely should not. My sight has never fully recovered.

Was there any other specific questions for this thread?...

No question.  Just a hello.

Although I've never been to a con, I've seen a lot of pictures.  I think there is a bit more to the classification of cosplayers.
- Great costume and the body to go with it (specific to those whose character is scantily clad)
- Good costume idea, just didn't have the funds or artistic talent to pull it off to fall into category above
- Just dressing up to fit in
- OH GOD NO!!! *search for nearest pointed object to stab eyes out with*
- Then the creepy guy that dresses up like a female, anime character that creates the same problems as the category just above this with the added trauma of vomiting for days as the mental image refuses to remove itself from your brain and haunts you each time you close your eyes

Been a long while since I've been around here. Realized I missed the silliness and entertainment that derives from this wonderful community. I can't believe I registered in 2004 feels so far away since well it is.... but I'm happy Ananth and Hawk are still going on strong. Smiley

A new thing about me is that I'm a US Marine now. I'm an engine mechanic for C-130s its a big plane with propellers that will blow your socks off. I'm still in the training process so it's back to studying and knowing things. Never would have thought I would have a year of school once I joined the Corps. Just when you think the schooling is over.

So yep I'll be posting when I can. I've been out of the loop for a every long time, got some catching up to do.

Cheers!

Hello; I'm new on here.  I'm a general web comic fan / wannabe artist / ham radio operator.  I design and program web sites for a living so hopefully I can be of some use in the programming and art forums.

Oh; I'm from just North of Cincinnati.
