i don't know much about html, just what i've picked up from playing around with my blog from blogger.  recently i added some links to webcomics that i read, this being one of 'em, and rememberd that hawk had some banners here.  now, i've been able to set up the link but there is no image that shows.  do i need to post the image somewhere and use that in the code?
i guess this question could be related to avatars too.  i've been trying to add one to my profile here and just haven't been successful or had the time to go about figuring it out.

If you are trying to do it in your sig.

|url=http://insertsitehere||img"http://insertimagehere"/img||/url|  Replace | with [ and ]
For your web page (Html)

|a href="Insert site here"||img src="Image" width="200" height="150" border="0">|/a| Replace | with < and >

i actually knew how to write the code from viewing the code of other sites, my problem was just getting somewhere to host the image.  which i've done now that i actually took the time to do it.  i pretty much just asked to double-check myself.  thanks for the help though.

Hm...When I use a banner I usually just use the URL that the website/webcomic uploaded it to...Unless I'm asked not to.  Then again nobody ever visits any site of mine so I'm using up 0.000000000000001 of their bandwidth.

I actually paid for a Photobucket Premium account. PB is awesome regardless, and Premium ups a few things, including priority bandwidth. So on my Geocities page (remember when that's all there was?) it would actually be much faster to link all the pics from PB than store them in Geoc.
