I traced some lineart in my tablet that I found on 4chan one evening, I wanted to try actually DRAWING with my tablet, and this is the end result.  I'm not unhappy with it, but I realize it's got more room to grow.

... Dude, it's been fun watching you improve so much compared to when you started the thread. You've always had a good sense of shape, and now youre getting the hand of form, too.

And, damn you, you can do mechanical things. *envy* I can't draw guns or cars or anything with gears to save my life.

Your sense of proportion is still *slighly* off, but I love your character designs and some of the positioning of your pics. I look forward to more.

Nice artwork, but as far as the second piece in your original post is concerned... I'd suggest NOT on the cover of a techno CD. The techno crowd isn't into anime, generally speaking, and the album covers generally run on the lines of trendy, bright lights, and perhaps something electronic or depressing.

sorry for taking so long to update this thread, but i've had some major maya work i've been trying to get done for my classes X_x  Modelling is hard for me, 'cuz i suck at it lawl.

Either way, I did this sketch awhile ago:

For those that don't know, it's a Ghost from Starcraft.  I've been in a mean SC kick lately, so I felt the need that I had to draw a ghost because Starcraft: Ghost will never see the light of day -_-




....and there's some of the colors I'm working on.  I'm thinking of leaving the linework off; I like how it looks just bare colors.  Obviously shades and values incoming.

Hopefully I'll have time to finish this one; modelling tanks is too demanding x_x

Yea..well if you saw what little of the gameplay video they had..it kinda sucked..but the story sounded awesome. And I always thought the ghosts were the fucking shit.


btw...half of her legs are missing..

I did, and the gameplay initially looked decent, but the multiplayer looked like ass.  As for the story, they said they were gonna put some of the overall story from Ghost into SC2, so we'll see what happens.

Oh yeah, I haven't figured out whether or not I wanna draw her boots, or i wanna have her fading in from her cloaking device, hence why the color ends so abruptly.  Any thoughts?
