I can count the total number of crashes on one hand.

That's quite impressive...

Don't worry, I got the joke.

School computers are different, tho. Excluding colleges; I'm talking about public schools that order with minimum system specs (back then it meant 128MB ram) and they're used by kids that have only used Windows, or are just plain stupid, and sometimes are never shut off. Any computer would struggle under that kind of abuse.

Uhm, actually, leaving a computer on consistantly is less stress than turning a computer off frequently. Very much in the same manner, that if you turn a lightbulb on and off alot, it wont last as long.

Woo! Go BeOS! Wink

In all seriousness, while BeOS is awesome and all, I'm gonna head with OSX.

I am, however, growing increasingly proud of my OSX clone I'm building. G4 Powermac, running Gentoo, slowly adding things like GNUstep and horribly abused window managers to it. Then I'ma put a black sheen over the clear acrylic Cheesy Should look awesome backlit (And it's in front of a window)

King of NeXT Cube clones! Should even run quite alot of OSX apps if I get it all set up right.

I hear urinating helps.
In fact, I can't think of any situation where it doesn't.

But... you could just put OSX on it O_o...

And the programs created with GORM are ugly unlike the ones made with Interface Builder >_>;

Linux. By all means. Highly upgradable, open source, easy to code for, what else would you want? It treats you like the administrator you are  Grin
