i took my style from Machall, and i just did what felt right to me.

A friend of mine started out just like you, making comics that looked like that.  Now he's an awesome artist.  My advice is for you to keep on doing it and you'll get better over time (not that you suck now, don't missunderstand).

I do have one suggestion;  Alot of these anime style comics have one flaw and its that there is no clear phisical diffrence between the characters.  So far, all the characters on that page have elements that help us tell them apart.  What I'm getting at is, don't fall in that horrible creative pit where all characters look alike.

Many people will say, to create a rememberable character it should be recognizable by it's silhouette alone. Not that I stick to this rule.

sorry again for the double post, but something that should be brought to the attention to the small fanbase i have.

I draw, but since school is winding down and everything is getting boring, i'm kinda slacking off. and in light of this, i'm going to the other thing that i like to do, which is, spriting.

a little taste of what i do:

i'm the idiot doing the writing, and this comic is from a series of comics a friend and i am doing, called Kay and Silent Rob, which is a parody of a well known duo.

if it's too big, or too....explicit in language, i apologize.
i'm also wondering if it's okay to post some of the comics i do here... if not, this will be the first and last one.

the headshape is early machall. If you look at the mini tutorial he has on his site you'll see how to do that head.

That is some of the best drawing I've seen from a newb as you call yourself.  It's like raw unbridled talent just waiting to be harness. Good job so far.  Just keep practicing.
