art is art. the way i see it is that you shouldn't negativly judge it. it only discourages people to draw. all it takes is constant practice and more practice.

i see potential in your art. you just gotta keep drawing until you find your groove, your style, even if it means you have to start off with something similar to someone else, you'll eventually get there.

i myself, when younger, didn't like to show off my art, until i thought i got something good. i hate it when people go up to the wall in a highschool art gallery and start laughing and badly critiqueing someones work because they think they can do better. all there doing is bringing someone's self esteem down.

I just got a new wacom drawing tablet a few days ago, so i used one of your pictures for inking so that I could practice using my tablet.  Hope you don't mind.

been keeping on eye on your little thread here (i like very much your first issue) and i saw the sketch and then the ink and figure i'd give it a whirl so Here is my try at inking. I'm not done and just saw some changes i need to make . I changed/ added a few things ^_^;; really hope you don't mind.and am really sorry if i ended up totally messing it up or something...so um hope you like it ^_^

I like the first inked version, ape. Some parts look a little funky (i.e. shoes and hand. i really hate drawing them...) you missed the buttons on the projector, along with the vents on the other side. May not be your fault, cause i may have not defined them well enough. All in all, it looks awesome for a first try on you new tablet.

And as for mandy's....
I'm gonna have to wait to get home to see yours. Damn school comps block out some of my favorite sites, such as Deviantart, megatokyo, and some of my favorite forums.

for those of you who don't know, i have a deviantart account. It's http://www.soulgamer.deviantart.com, and i know how many of you distrust the site, but most of my favorite pieces that i have are up there.
especially this one
its about 2 years old, but it still reminds me how far i've come.

i am not dead! i've been swamped with school cause we have exams starting tomorrow.

regular copy paper, mech pencil, and black ball point pen.


oh, and before anyone asks who those two are, i have no idea. i draw whatever is on the top of my head, i try not to copy anything in real life, such as other peoples characters, and i try not to give these things names.

Nice work, though. It's coming along rather nicely if you ask me.
Law of cosines, eh? Heh heh, I remember that. I wrote a program for a TI-83 that would solve the thing in less thana second...that was fun.

There was sort of a black market in my programs, in fact. Especially the newton-raphson method one; everyone loved that.
