Dear god, I shiver at the thought of how much money I've blown on anime and manga...

Anyway, I've got 1962 songs, 6.7 days, 12.17 GB. I recently deleted a bunch of music, though. Before I was around 2300, but I realized that half of it I hadn't listened to in three years. Oh, and that's not including all the podcasts I've downloaded. :]

I've got 3,143 songs, 9 days, 20.85GB. Currently in the process of migrating from AAC to LAME MP3 (APX setting). 99% legal!

195 songs. 9 hours, 23 minutes, 1 second. 887.86 megabytes.

I pity my lack of a collection. I think it's....not even half legal. if the cops ever get their hands on deathbringer, I'm gonna get screwed in the ass for the rest of my life.

If they ever get their hands on me, I'm triple fucked. I've got 18.4 gigs, but 4 gigs of that is live pirated shows.

9 days, 19 hours, 24 minutes, and 53 seconds. All played through winamp, sorry.

not sure what to do with all my CDs though - if i get rid of them on ebay or something, it'd save a helluva lot of space.... but then what if the hard disk that's got all my iTunes music on goes to the big IDE Bus in the sky?

Save them. You may to reimport them if your drive crashes.

297 songs
17.3 hours
976.3 MB
I know, it's not much, especially seening what some of you guys are packing. However, I just blew my whole wad (at 13 years old) on a Powerbook. G4 Titanium 15". It's hot. Anyway, that only leaves a little $$ for CDs. I've only had a few years to accumulate CDs, also, you have to factor that in. Because the stuff I listened to before, like, a year ago, was crap. I would say...that maybe 3 of those songs I acquired from the internet. For free. I have other ones, maybe 5 or so, plus 6 moxy früvous videos, but I can't get them onto iTunes 'cause they are WMA files. and I have iTunes mac. grr. So I listen to them while on the computer

True. I'm pushing 29 in a couple months (Gasp! He's old!!1!!one!) and I've been buying CDs since they came out, oh, 15-16 years ago. (I don't know if that time frame is right or not. The say that memory is the first thing to go... :? )

Oh yeah, an update on my ripping progress:

25012 songs
67.6 days
90.61Gb

Less than 100 CDs to go. *phew*

That's it! I am officially done ripping my CD collection.

That's a grand total of 1627 CDs. My original assessment of the # of CDs we have was off by several (dozen) box sets.

If anyone does the calculation to figure out how much I've probably paid for all these, please don't tell me. I'm scraping together enough to buy another drive so I can RAID them and keep this insane amount of work safe. *phew*

Oy, someone let me know when Apple comes out with a 100Gb iPod.
