I'm game. I'm in here every day, so it's no biggie for me to update my post every couple of days.

That remains up to the mods, however.

I've got 186 songs, 10:36:05, 706.5 MB. All from CD's or the iTunes Music Store. (No, actually, one is a free download from the artist's website.) It's all legal, in any rate.

Also, on the iPod playlist I actually listen to, I have 87 songs (6:25:47).

Sidenote: Whee, a new forum. Yet another place to waste time when I should be doing homework.

Well, does collective count? I've got a bunch here, a bunch on my pc and a bunch on the second laptop, so the total is high, and none are doubles, as far as I know.

Hey, I'll count them as long as they're yours.

Let me lay down some guidelines:
    1) You have to own the music (I'm not going to question legality.) Shared libraries at home will count, but no counting what your coworkers have, even if you have access to them. We're counting what you personally own on your system(s).

    2) Doubles do not count. This includes whatever is in your player. (The exception to this rule is multiple releases of a track. If you have three versions of one song, you can count all three. Aerosmith fans rejoice! Smiley )

    3) Subscriptions do not count. No counting Napster tunes, please.

    4) They can be in whatever format you use (mp3, AAC, WinAmp, whatever.) As long as they're a selectable track, I'll count them.

    5) When posting, try to use the "# songs, # hours/days, # GB" format. That'll help me keep track of what's going on.
    [/list:u]
If anyone has any suggestions or refinements for these rules, PM me. No spamming!!1!

    6) Don't make up numbers just so you can be in the top 5!

    798 songs, 2.3 days, 4.57GB.

All but a dozen or so are from CDs that I still keep around, the others were downloaded legitimately from a website.

i don't know how much music i have.

    about 100 mp3 cds probably 400mb each
about 400 regular cds sitting in my closet
and about 25 GB of music on this cp.

hopefully it'll fit on my external hard drive that's coming in the mail. I'll fill ya in when i get it all ripped.

my friend wants me to back up his entire collection so maybe it'll be RAIDED with my collection
