Heya, I know you have answered TONS of questions about your art before, and I could not find the answer to this one anywere, but I am sorry if it has been asked before.

How do you do your backrounds?  Is it by hand, or do you use a seperate program to paint them?...cause it looks like they have a very crisp look to em, yet a painted look in some cases.  Thanks for your time Smiley

all the coloring is done in photoshop. after i color all the characters, i create a new layer behind the character and paint in the background with the paint brush.

I'm curious as to how you get that 'guassian' effect off the painting... cause it doesn't look like it is the filter :/

A similar effect can be achieved by crossing your eyes while drawing.

Hi You probaly get asked this a gazillon times but im new to photoshop im more familar with paintshop pro. So how do i do skin tones and really dealied things like patterns on colthes.  :oops:

for skin tones just find a pick of a real person and use the colour picker.
