Forgot to say this earlier but i thought the ending was good setting it up for Halo 3. At first i thought it was kinda short completing it fairly quickly an all. But the replay value is enormous and as the levels this time are vaired - no fillers - you can do a lot of things differently.

The only point i would say that was filler was when your on the covenant ship near the end and then all the brutes are fightng the elites. And all you do is go straight round a wall straight again and then in that anti-grav people carrier and then it repeats. Fell off a couple of times thanks to the brutes ^^ damn idiots...

I just beat the game on Heroic last night.  OOF!  I've played a little bit with Legendary, but I don't think I'll ever beat the game with it.

I got Halo 2 on the 11th. Played it for a while, dismantled my Xbox, forgot the disc was inside, held the drive vertically as I turned it on.. Sad  Scuffed to joe buggery...

I've since picked up a chinese limited edition version, which is ultimatly cooler than the English version. http://fs5.deviantart.com/i/2004/339/9/9/Halo_2_limited_edition_manual_by_Nirach.jpg
That's the pretiful manual, with the nice happy chinese. The names of the enemys are cooler, too.
Grunt - Unggoy
Jackle - Kig-yar
Hunter - Lekgolo
Elite - Sangheili
Brute - Jiralhanae
Flying do-da - Yanme'e
Prophets are still called Prophets, though.
The extra little booklet is nice, too.

Once you get past the first level it's not that bad. Every level seems to have one spot you'll have to constantly do over and over again until you hate it, but the first level seems to have one of the worst with the boarding parties and damned dual wielding Elites with the uber shields. Get past that part and the rest isn't all that bad.

Oh yeah....Jackal snipers are whores as well.

Completed that game yesterday Tongue
Working on Tales of Symphonia, multiplayer mode xD

Still, Halo2 was good, but Halo1 was better, maybe cuz it was new, and cuz Cortana was setting way points, most missions in Halo2 were like mazes ><

You sold out on us man!

Damn the Lone Wolf to the pit I say. It still looks like Mechassault 1, but with a different munictions reader layout.

Apart from the spelling, is it any different to the MechWarrior series on the PC?

Well, unless they gave you the option of first person view as opposed to nothing but third person in MechAssault 2 then yeah it is somewhat different I'd say.

Personally I don't care for the series much. After getting ahold of a copy of Steel Battalion I can't help but play MechAssault and feel like nothing is to scale the way it should be. I don't feel like I'm in a huge 5 story bi-pedal robot. I feel like I'm in some kind of micro-machine universe driving around in a 5 year olds new toy he just got for christmas.

Never cared much for the multiplayer community of MechAssault 1 either. No matter how many times I tried to like it I'd always end up playing with a huge lot of jerks. Perhaps MechAssault 2 is better. I wouldn't know...
