I just got my copy about 20 minutes ago.
Here I come home and my damnable roommate is sitting there playing Metroid Prime for God knows what reason. :x
Now here I sit with my copy of Halo 2 waiting for him to relinquish the television.
I WILL DESTROY HIM!111

I played a couple of games online tonight. I was on at the peak time (around midnight EST) and it was pretty bad. I spoke to people who had been playing on and off all day and they were saying it wasn't nearly that bad during the low time.
I imagine once 50% of the globe stops trying to log into XBL all at once the lag will go away, or at least lessen.

true dat  I think that I may drop my math notes off for a friend, and then sluff math to go home and play. Morning should be pretty sparse. I have a hunch that the campaign will draw me in more today though. I propose that we plan a game. I bet that sometime this weekend would be effective. The main problem I see is getting the aussies into the mix. I don't remember off hand what the GMT +hour is for Australia. Talk to me, let me get some info. slocky PS- To anyone with an xbox/broadband. Halo 2 comes with a 2 month subscription card. So this must be where we post our personal reveiws about Halo2. Huh... Go Figure. Kind thought since there is only 3 topics about halo 2 and one was about getting a clan Applegeeks together, and i'm not quite sure what this one is about (think it might be the "OMG Halo2 is comming tomorow" Topic) and the third was mine about what people thought about the game as they were playing it. So i guess i will try to change the topic of conversation to a Post-release version of this thread. Personaly, i was not totally impressed with Halo2. Sorry. The graphics have improved, and the story progresses much like i had expected; all things i expect from a sequil (God I suck @ spelling). It's nice to know that you no longer have to worry about taking out the tank with a pistol when you could just commender it, and the that the Ally AI has improved, with the exception that they are the worst drivers in Halo. Duel carry is nice when you want full auto mayhem (SMG, Needler) but it really limits the veiw (a minus to a plus, i know). Everything is shiny, skin, metal, Flood.... Lighting is nice too. Worlds are a bit larger so it can get easy to get lost if you have dessimated your Allies by mistake. Havent seen a helth pack latley, or a life bar for that matter. flashlight sucks worse than ever. I am quite superised when i run out of ammo on my battle rifle, but then i realize i only have a maximum of about 74 bullets (Pfft). Over all, a 4 out of 5 |

I mean come on Bungie, who are you trying to kid around with here? Halo 3 will end the game possably? Is Master Chief going to go get Cortona? Will we ever be out of popcorn Flood? No, No, you are going to milk halo for all it's worth and retire @ 30. Crappy, just plain crappy. It should have been set up much better than that. WHO'S WITH ME?! I got a messed up question for this game. Does ANYONE know how to change that damn vertical screen to a horizontal on Co-op??? We started the game up and had vertical, about making me throw up trying to only look at half a tv. Yeh i know Horizontal is half but it just doesn't seem as bad. We cannot find a setting for this anywhere. My one other buddy got his and it started out with horizontal. We are stuck vertical. Any help would be MUCH appreciated!!

If your XBox is set up for 16:9 ratio it will split the 2 player vertically. if it is set for 4:3 it will split horizontilly. If you're using a widescreen TV, you're pretty much out of luck I think. In other news, I found something interesting on the Zanzibar level while using the computer to open the gate: click for a great big picture |

I pray that it won't go past 4. Yes about Cortana, Keyes and Johnston are still there so they can pick her up can't they???
