Twenty some views, and no one tells you

Congratulations!

And good luck!  I'm looking forward to reading about your stories from the world of "tech support"

Unless, of course, there's some disclosure agreement you get to sign about not sharing things from work..  Or maybe that's stealing things from work.  I'm not sure.

Wait are you employed by Apple to fix iPods or employed by some other company to fix iPods?

hehe, thanky, thanky Wink

it's actually a contract a call centre got, hence "technically" working for apple since they would be the ones payin for me to be there.  I don't really know the details but well, it's basically just tech support.  no fixing and/or repairing for us.  I'm really lookin forward to it.  it's gotta be better than internet tech which we all know isn't too fun at times.

If you enjoyed that, this will probably make you laugh as well. Having worked in tech before, this is all too true.

How to Call Tech Support

After that, you might enjoy more comedy at Three Dead Trolls in a Baggie Internet Comedy HQ. They have some very funny internet help desk stuff.

Congrats Jemma. Heres to hoping that your job isn't over the phones ^_^
I can't tell you how *fun* that is. (Then again, it is with apple)

edit: I got distracted while reading, watching movie, etc... The congrats was acurate when I started posting. *OOoo... Shiny. Color...

I worked at an Apple store over the summer- the best part is when they have you sign the contract saying they own all of your inventions while you work there (unless you can prove you didn't use any company time or resources).  Don't ask me why, but I thought that was the coolest thing ever.
