I'm running on an iMac.  At least, a similar issue has been reported on the wiki for the program.

I was wondering if anyone knew a good icon swapper outside of Liteicon or Candybar 3. I tried Liteicon on my Leopard-running MBP, but it won't apply the generic folder to all my documents and files. On top of that, I don't want to spill out 30 bucks for a theme/icon changer, despite how good it is.

Found a really cool app today. It's a plugin for Safari that enables core video to the max... for viewing videos, photos, sharing and lots more. Check it out and try it, its free.

For awhile, I was looking for a good note-taking software and I found this nifty little piece.

Evernote

You make a free account for it and when you are not taking notes, it syncs it to an online account to back up your notes in case you ever crash or uninstall it. It's also accessible on other comps if you use Evernote on them.

I personally like the organization method of it, similar to that of, say, Mail.app or NetNewsWire.

iComic is pretty well dead, development having ceased long before Snow Leopard. So I finally got off my arse to find a replacement.

I got back on my arse, because it was a symbolic gesture. We usually sit down to use the web. Anyway, I found iStrip (not the publishing tool). It doesn't use external plugins, but has support for around 550 comics, and an adjustable concurrent download rate. If a strip won't load (currently Penny Arcade), it's usually due to the host site being redesigned, and will probably be fixed in the next release.
