alright here's the deal... how many of you are familiar with a Tsunami effect?

link: http://www.actionscript.org/tutorials/advanced/Building_a_tsunami/index.shtml

well i've modifed that to make it draggable and basically a menu.  that wasn't the hard part, but when anything is dragged when it's published the tsunami effect stops working.  right now i have the menu as an external .swf file that loads when you open the parent page.  i thought that 'd fix the problem but unfortunately it didn't.  is there a refresh property that i can set so after something is moved it refreshs my tsunami? because when i minimize it and mazimize it (the menu itself) it works again.  i'm hoping there is because that would solve all of my problems.  hope you guys know what to do.

do you guys know of a refresh property?  i figure i can set it to refresh the tsunami each time i drag something.  that'd fix it, but i don't know if such a thing exists.  if not what about a reload feature?  i'm not finding them.  and if possible i'd rather not use unload then load... too much scripting for something so simple.

Well, I think what might work (not that I know) would be a restart on the move clip or code or whatever.

BTW, actionscripting can do anything, so you'll find it eventually.

yeah but you'd think it would be easier.  basically i just told it to unload then load using the same release handler.  it works fine but the way the tsunami resets if you don't take long enough to drag the movie it gives a little jump.  is there a delay function anyone knows about?  like i could tell it to delay the action .5 seconds or something like that.  that would do it.
