I'm having an issue with my 12WX Cintiq tablet and CS3.
It rarely recognizes the pressure settings, and now won't recognize the switch from the pen tip and the eraser.  It will not switch over to erasing when I flip the pen.
Any one else encountering this problem with any tablet?  It works fine in other programs (e.g. Painter and SketchBook) but when I try it in PS CS3 it won't recognize the switching.
Any tips?
I posted this in Hawk's Office cause I know he uses the Cintiq (the big brother to mine but still) so I though he might have encountered this at some point.

Never heard of that happening before, but I'd try looking up some troubleshooting on Wacom's site....or possibly searching google about the problem.  Might be a "reinstall photoshop" issue, or something else.

Only time will tell.

i would try to google " pen/ereaser wacom photoshop cs3 problem" and see if any forum has this issue, also i would try to reinstall photoshop CS3, so good luck and tell us what happens with your issue Smiley or in case none of these options work... then try to write to the wacom support team

It doesn't sound so much as a Cintiq error, but more like a CS3 error, because he isn't having problems with other programs.  It could be driver related also, but /shrug, I'm just tossing ideas out..

Well unfortunately, and extremely tragically, I may never find out what the issue is.
Several hours after starting this thread, my Cintiq slipped from my grasp, fell 2-3 feet onto the corner of my futon whilst rearranging things in my apartment, and is no longer with us.
Rest in peace Cintiq... I will buy a new on someday... someday when I learn to love again (and have another disposable 1K lying around...)
