I've been on a serious art deco kick lately, and I made my bodyfriend this wallpaper quick in photoshop so he'd take down the one he made of my face.  Its a Gil Elvgren pinup that I monkeyed with and put a background to.

1280x1024

nothing really shows much in that pic, but i'm running the osx ng skin off windowblinds.
very handy, and the little shrink-down-to-title-bar option.

Just finished my current wallpaper and updated the screenshot last night, I wish I could find better hi-res scans of Aya to work with, but they just don't seem to exist.

I'm running WinXP with ObjectDock, and I'll tell you what all is there since a couple are not the right ones, from left to right:

Quit OD, Start, Bin, Bittorrent, Trillain, Nero, Magic: The Gathering Online(anyone got a 'real' MTGO icon?), Notepad, Photoshop, mIRC, My Comp, Thunderbird, and Opera.

GreekDelta, A) do my eyes deceive me, or is that a Gundress wallpaper/screencap? B) Fuchikoma icon! :D

Kalfireth, that's a great looking FLCL paper :D

Finally, self-plugging, I run a wallpapers site with my roomie over at http://www.motorballer.org/pixels(looking at this here at work, I should up the font size a bit, d'oh)

Redbullman you can either try windowsblinds at http://www.wincustomize.com or http://www.tgtsoft.com/download.php

If you use the second one you can download new skins at http://www.themexp.org

Ive used both I prefer the stylexp much more cuz it doesnt use as much system resources as windowsblinds does.

Oh and .Pi what background for object dock is that?  I really like that one

Thanks

Does that mean you actually liked the movie? Or was it just the character design?  I could barely tolerate it, even after two viewings, as I did a writeup for it on my Shirow site. I will admit that it has some nice character designs(being Shirow and all), but good character designs does not a good show make

Edit: Ichabod, I'm not sure off the top of my head, I'll be headed home in about half an hour here and can check then, working at the moment =) (there, on topic ;P)

It's Metachrome 3, from this background pack.

I just went into the settings and made everything size 7 font with verdana and then title bar height is 17. But of course, you can set it to whatever you prefere.

need stylexp ( http://www.tgtsoft.com/ ) for it though... if you dont have it you can download it and get a trial then you have to pay (heh, yeah right... like i pay for anything when i got an emule icon in the taskbar).

how did you get the start button like that? applying the style gives me a different button
