Will the mini be upgraded?
Will the OS X iPhone SDK suck?
Will we be looking at a new Mac?
Will the new iPhone be awesome?

My bets:

New iPhone, 3g, gps, and possibly direct release of 2.0 announced.

As for mac hardware, maybe upgrades for some pro machines, but this is a developers conference (the phone is an exception due to the portion of time being devoted to the sdk).

10.6 early preview, no clue what will be special about it, but likely will be there imo

The SDK is already "out" as a beta, and is quite good in most respects, lacking mainly in bluetooth access, and dock port connectivity (as far as I know) though.  I've not played with it much, but Im still learning Objective-C/Cocoa for desktop, much less the stringent memory control required on the phone.  The documentation/examples are good.

SDK is already out, so whether or not it sucks is settled.

Speaking as an Apple employee... New Mac? Doubt it. We usually get some sort of hint there MIGHT be something new, be it new visual display stuff, posters, etc, that usually says "do not open before month/date. Then again I've been wrong before, and it'd be cool to have something like an iMac without the screen part.

I expect a new iPhone, which hopefully will have 3G and GPS. Hopefully some sort of video-calling feature, which would be neat, and maybe some software update for it.

What else... maybe a set date for iPhone Apps to be sold on the iTunes Store, if not immediately then within a few months.

hmmm... from what i have read 10.6 will be more of a streamlining of the OS... not the right word. but it will do.

Make the OS work better with Hardware etc.

And i doubt a new iMac.  The latest one is still so good.

My first gen shall have to do me for now, partly because there is no 3G where I live (there is in similar sized cities nearby, and the state capitol which is a 1/4 our size, but not here!  Huh), and I don't travel enough to justify a gps of my own just yet.  The mobile me is nice (kind of cheesy name, but if it helps me stay organized, I can forgive the name), and makes me glad Ive kept .mac, although if Google comes out with their own push service based on the push api they will be adding, I might consider dropping it.  Its mostly because I have a hard time remembering to sync things, so my phone is usually out of date with my laptop and vice versa.

Very cool app's demoed too, although some websites complained about the time devoted to it, Im glad to know I can expect cool/good apps on launch of the store or shortly thereafter.

As for the Snow Leopard session that was held later under NDA rules, well, what can I say, Apple knows where it will make the most impression with the public, and thats with the iPhone announcements.  From what I've read, it will be a largely improvement focused, rather than new feature focused release, and Im OK with that, although the press would likely take it wrong compared with the iPhone shinyness.

Are you gonna let him get away with that?

-Parody- No, Bill gates didn't really say that

Im still not really sure the point of MMS, mainly because the networks charge so much for it on phones that have it, yet I have free email, and other means of uploading/downloading/streaming/linking content that all fall under the heading of "unlimited data".

Precisely.

MMS is just a crappy substitute for email that lets telecommunications providers extract more money from users.
