sure there is.  it's not supported en mass by apple, so any drivers for components (like video cards, USB Controllers, ethernet etc.) you'd need would have to come from a 3rd party developer specifically for your application...  usually done open source by random geeks.  not the most trustworthy, or efficient... but it's very possible.

well, if enjoy maintaining a computer's core services and that's your bag, yeah, i do.

however if you just want to use mac and not have to think about it much... just stick to your Windows XP.  Running a mac on a PC machine is more trouble than it's worth.  after installing it, you'll find out it's more a yay me project than anything actually usable for the long term.

Invincibility is absolute. Security is relative.

It's a huge pain to keep a Hackintosh going. Really it is - unless your hardware aligns exactly with the community supported drivers (and even then) you'll have random breakages, boot issues etc.

The modern EFI Emulation disks are better, but updates still don't work, meaning you'll have to reinstall every single time an update appears, providing that the update itself has been included in a patched disk.

It hurts. Buy a Mac or go with XP. Hackintoshes are a hobbyist computer, not a productive, useful machine.
