Anybody happen to know where I can get all the old Applegeeks Wallpapers?  Like the "Rawr Tiger" one, and "The Bunisher", and "Power On" and whatnot.

Thank you, I assure you I will use these only for personal use as desktop wallpapers because I am a fan of the artwork and the artist.  It might be a good idea for you to remove the link now though, seeing as it probably goes against the wishes of whoever it was that in the end decided to remove the wallpapers altogether.

Really long story not quite as short: items started popping up on some websites and in stores that featured Hawk's artwork. Someone was selling notebooks with a front cover that had (i believe it was) the bunisher on it, without permission or credit. Someone else had taken another portion of his art and used it on a banner to advertise for some group or something on their website.

Hello, I'm new here (read the comic in about 3 days) and I was wondering if somebody could link me the download for the wallpapers. I'd really like em. The closest I have gotten is a small image of how the download section used to look like and I love some of the wallpapers (as far as I could see).

Hawk just had another instance where people were taking his work, and the whole notebook debacle really kinda soured him on making wallpapers.

I unfortunately had the honor of sending him one of said sites, so it's really important of course to keep Hawk's work Hawk's, when he doesn't give permission for people to use it.

IMHO, email Hawk, ask him if you can use some of his images to make a personal wallpaper and then photoshop it up. I'm sure he's got a couple lying around and he's not a total tyrant with his work. Wink

While that would make it easier for Hawk to shut down whoever makes profit off his work, that won't stop people from stealing.
