I've been getting more into using Illustrator lately, and I am starting to really prefer using it over photoshop.

However, there are a few problems that I haven't seen in the Windows version that I have been noticing on my G4. Mainly the following:

-When switching from another application back to Illustrator, the tool cursor doesn't reappear unless I switch tools and then back again. This gets annoying when tapping out to change tracks in iTunes/move reference images around.

-The brush tool sometimes leave artifacts when I use really small brush point sizes, which don't vanish unless I scroll or cover that portion of the document with another window.

I might mention that I'm using TabletMagic to use an old Intuos tablet that I have (<3), so it is possible that the mouse problem has to do with the way that the daemon is controlling the mouse.

Also, with the brush issue, is there anyway to get illustrator to show the ACTUAL brush weight for sizes smaller than 1pt? It seems to want to show the 1pt size and then change once I've finished the stroke and lifted up the stylus.

Thanks!
