I know this is an old posting but I just found it and couldn't help but contribute.
I tried something new with this one. Using transparent layers to color over top the pencil sketch. Also did the background by taking a photo and applying a Pen and Ink effect. Think it looks pretty good myself. Criticisms are welcome.

Alright here's my attempt at coloring this puppy. Coloring isn't usually my thing but I gave it my best shot and was pretty happy with how it turned out. In case anyone is interested rather than working digitally I decided to work more traditionally using PRismacolor markers.

Started this a loooooooo~ng while ago and had a huge pause somewhere in the progress. Finished it like a few days ago and am now finally showing it ^^"
(Due to the change of style, it looks a bit shitty, the starting idea remained, though.)

The idea was to color the black parts with soft airbrushs and the white parts cel-shading-style.
I think it works, although  I don't like this one so much. ^^
