Not to be a wet blanket or anything, but this only works with jail broken iPhones. Your average person isn't going to be willing to go through the process over just to be able to get REAL functionality out of their phone. Until Apple starts including this automatically with the iPhone then lack of video capture is still an argument against iPhones.

Edit for typos

Sadly, I agree. Its definitely an enthusiast's device at the moment, at least if you want to pull real potential out of it.

Summerboard, for some goddamned reason, tends to freeze the device for a few seconds when you wake it from sleep mode. I stopped using it.

Same problem here.  I stopped using SummerBoard and the suddenly the stability level on Pyxis was like it had never been jailbroken again.

By the end of this month, my mother will buy me a new iPhone 4. So, I am currently surfing on the net about it's various features. I am very excited to use it.

I am wondering about the signal loss issues, I have heard so many different stories from the internets in general that i am a little confused.
Anyone have a more solid understand of what is happening with the iphone 4?

Wow, another necro-thread.

I have an iPhone 4. The signal loss thing is annoying but since I know about it, it's fine. Also I use wi-fi most of the time, which isn't affected in the same way.

The one real gripe I have with the new phone is the proximity sensor that it uses to tell when your face is near the handset doesn't seem to work as well. I am always hanging up calls and putting people on hold and allsorts with my cheek and ear. I haven't heard any other complaints about this so I may just have a faulty unit or a faulty face, but I never had a problem with my iPhone 3G like this.

Otherwise, I love it.
