I've got the full box, one nonexistant message thing also.  wonder if this will be able to be corrected en masse or if it will have to be done account by account... that would suck. script? 

anyway, the big question I have is:  What the heck was the point of that msg anyway?  It's not the kind of thing that is publically discussed, so I dont really know, but I was under the impression that no one really ever goes to pay porn sites...

Seems kinda silly to me.

Makes me wish I were a superhero... would like invisibility, so I can sneak up and do away with n'erdowells at liberty.

One way to trace people online is:
http://www.urgentclick.com/address_trace.php
you can trace ip. sometimes you get specifics, sometimes you don't.  like, if it's comming from china, then that's probably about all we'll find out.  If it's comming from the us, then you can get more specifics.  About the best scenario is if the dude sent it from his own registered domain in the us.  ip trace to find the originating domain, then do a whois (anyone remember those? Grin) to get his address. Cheesy

Mine's ok, but that's because I deleted it immediately - before Hawk/BatmanX did the mass delete. I don't know this for sure [never having admin'd or moderated a forum], but if I had to take a guess based on the way other software behaves, I reckon if Hawk/BatmanX send a simple/generic "this is just a test message, plese delete it" message to everyone, & then everyone deletes their own copy of that message that might sort out the "phantom message" prob.
