I have done some drawings with lots of blurred objects, hoping that I could resize them later to whatever size I need them without any loss of quality. When transforming them I activate the option in the Transform panel "Scale Stroke & Effects". This seems to work fine with the stroke, but the blur stays as it is. That means if I enlarge the drawing, the blurred objects appear much "sharper" because the blur doesn't change.

Is anyone experiencing the same thing? How can this be done?

I've never told it to Scale Stroke & Effects and mine usually scales things like blurs and such automatically. But, did you apply the blur via the effects panel or the filter panel? I think that actually does make a big difference.

I applied the blur via the effect panel, the filter panel does not work on vector objects. I think the "Scale Stroke & Effects" is activated by default, I just made sure that it is turned on cause sometimes I need to turn it off. When you blur an object with the value e.g. Radius: 6 pixels, and you scale it to 200% shouldn't that value change too, to 12 or something? It seems to work with the stroke, just not with the effects.

Hmm... If memory serves though blurs are applied by blurring pixels via a certain radius, if you scale the object it doesn't necessarily scale the radius. You'd think it would but it doesn't. Though, if you export it as a high resolution it will still come out crystal clear since it's blurring vector. If you're making it bigger for bigger's sake then you might as well re-blur.

Yeah I'vealready tried to export it as a high res in different variations with different settings, still the result wasn't really satisfying, still a bit too pixelated. Maybe I have to reblur the whole lot when making it bigger, I guess I was just hoping that I missed a little box somewhere that I forgot to tick, you know, the eeeeeasy way!
