Eventhough I'm certain the absolutely nobody reads this thread, I may as well into myself anyhoo.

As you see, I am Acerbus.  I am a senior at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah, where I am majoring in photography and minoring in communication (though I'm not exactly sure why).

Hobbies include:  hiking, ATVing, skiing, geocaching, snowmobiling, reading (mostly Arthur C. Clarke), cooking (especially via dutch oven), playing tin whistle, and fiddling with Photoshop, and I'm trying to get into kayaking too.

And now my turn.

So I've been reading AG for a while now and it's what made me switch to a Mac about a year ago (was on PC's for about 8 years).  I'm on a Powerbook and I love it.  Out of the 365+ days I've been using it so far, no crashes and only one frozen program (MS Office (Word to be exact)).  Yeah, I just used a double parenthesis, wanna fight about it?

I'm 19 as of this past June.  I play guitar, and draw a lot.  You'll see artwork up here soon.  Just let me get   my scanner hooked up.  I love quoting Family Guy and I'm not fond of anime (even though I draw it).

So see ya around.

'ello all. I don't really think that anyone cares to know much about me so I'll just keep it short and simple.  Grin

I guess this is where I introduce myself?

Been into Applegeeks for a few months. Finally decided to join the forum.

Uh... I also like Peanutbutter. (?)

As you can see, I don't have a cool sig or avataur. I'm lame like that. Enjoy.

I know where the Av's are. Just because I'm new, doesn't mean I don't frequent them often.

I have no way of knowing that, and it was just a friendly "hey".

iBook G4 1.2GHz, 512 MB RAM, 60GB, Airport Extreme

« Reply #853 on: August 21, 2005, 03:43:09 PM »

Hello, I'm new to this forum, after almost a year reading AG, I finally decided to join it.

AppleGeeks made me switch, so I bought a wonderfull iBook G4 12" some mounts ago which I named Eve. In fact, I don't have windows on my pc's so it was not a huge switch, just moved from linux to mac os.

I'm from switzerland (a litle country with a lot of mountains) and I'm 23. I'm studying communications systems at the EPFL.
