Hi, I'm Carl. I found Applegeeks through Ananth's tweets (I read Johnny Wander, so I decided to follow him). Just read the whole archive yesterday (yes, it did take me all day) and I'm definitely hooked.

I am currently studying at my local community college, aiming towards either a music education degree or a psychology degree with a focus in counseling (haven't really decided yet). I use Ubuntu Linux because it's free, runs pretty fast on my 5-year-old computer and hasn't crashed on me yet. I read too many webcomics to list and regularly spend my free time on forums or blogging.

Hi! I began reading Applegeeks when I was like, Twelve-ish and loved it. Since then I dropped it during one of the times that the comic was coming out too slow and forgot about it until recently. I bought the first two books and finished them tonight and decided maybe it was time to join the forums.

My real name is Katrina, but I'd rather Sontiskel. I was born in Alaska but I've since gotten married, moved to Mississippi and begun college in the degree of fine arts. I've got some fantastic blue hair and a wonderful husband who likes to make 3d models on blender of spaceships. Uhm, I also am currently in a Karate class? Wow, what else is there to say to make me seem any stranger.

Oh I love video games and comics/manga/etc. I sport a book collection of over 450 novels, with a majority in science fiction and medieval fantasy. I aspire to write or illustrate my own book and hopefully own a library. I play primarily first person shooters and to simply put it, I can shoot while running which seems to be hard for most female gamers to accomplish.

More then any of this I simply hope to make some lasting friendships here on the forums, have some interesting conversations and above all else, continue to enjoy Applegeeks the comic from my past.
