Spiderman 3 showed a lot. It let you know basically what's going to happen, this showed a badly mocked up Mars Rover getting smashed by what may be an Autobot or Deceptecon... which one... What's going to happen, all you know is that they are at mars at some point. Yeah, great.

Spider-man 2 has been filiming for over 3 months. Transformers has been filming for hardly 1 month. Spider-man had a little more to work with when making their trailer.

Man, That really is a wise saying. Who was the wise man that said that? Was it Spielberg? Tarantino? Man wouldn't it be ironic if it was Michael Bay himself? Really Scottyarch, who was this wise man who knows so much about movies that said something that amazing?

i think it's a good teaser trailer - i mean, the film isn't going to be out for another whole year, so the chances of them having done enough CGI work yet for a tailer is nill - that will all be post-production work after they wrap on filming. so this is just enough to make people aware that there is a Transformers movie coming

the weird thing is, they show a mechanised unit on wheels rolling off a landing pad and across the mars surface.... but the Beagle 2 never had a rover. it was just a stationary observation system that would drill down into the surface surrounding it
