Anyway, back to the topic, do we know a plot for the movie yet?

Thank very much I honestly appreciate it.

As for a plot i have not heard of anything set in stone. From the rolls that have been casted i get a very strong impression that this movie is going to follow the comic book from the 80's rather then the T.V. Cartoon show that was on.

We will see Cyberton in this movie from all i have read as well which is a big WOW factor for a lot of fans. Their supposed to be a space battle and a crash landing on earth as a result of the battle prior to humans and dinosaurs. This information is in the comic book and the TV. But is after that crash landing that the to differ. so i don't want to give out any more of what it looks like the plot is going to be for thoughts of you who have not read the comic book.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the role of Sam "Spike" Witwicky's father has been cast. Kevin Dunn is set to be the father that helps Sam buy his first car/Transformer. You might have a "oh yeah him" moment as he has done roles in many TV shows and movies

Transformers director Michael Bay has updated his official News Blog with word on the first week of filming:

We finished our first week. One of the best first weeks on a movie I've ever experienced. We shot over 250 set ups.

I'm working on the military aspects of the film right now in New Mexico at Hollaman Air Force base and the Army's White Sands missile base. The military has been stellar with us. This is the largest military cooperation since Pearl Harbor and Black Hawk Down.

Friday we shot two CV-22's (Ospreys). They fly like aliens dropping out of the sky. We also shot stealth fighters and low attack missile runs (50 feet off the deck) A10 Warthogs. They look so deadly and mean.

We also shot in an army tank grave yard, that has more tanks in it then all of Iraq. The military cast Josh and Tyrese are surrounded with top notch Seal Team members.

I almost dropped from heat stroke on Wednesday in the 118 degree heat. Several crew went down in the heat on these dunes. It is amazing how quickly it can come on - I now see how some of those football players drop dead from heat stroke.

TRANSFORMERS: THE MOVIE - 20TH ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL EDITION

The DVD comes out in November. No word on what extras will be included in this edition.

FHE VHS tape (found used for around $6 in 1992)
Canadian VHS release (with "Shit" line intact)
Rhino DVD release (I hate Rhino's DVD releases, but at least the movie was unedited)

According to a leaked script, three of our favorite consumer electronics are
going to do a little “transforming” in the new Transformers live action movie

The Xbox 360 game console, iPod music player, and plasma televisions are
going shape-shift to become, well, we don’t know what yet. Maybe the Xbox
