meh, D2 was alright, but the open Bnet was full of hackers and I hated having to have a closed character and having to restart at level 1 after not playing for a couple of months.

lol ya ur kinda right.. its just the only online game ive had acess to other than starcraft.. (god i suk at that game) but ya i still like it... although ive givin it up to start posting on AG   |

I never really liked it too much to be honest! By modern standards the interface was clunky, the Point-n-click was a pain in the arse and I cannot be arsed spending a weekend killing the same enemy Over and over just so i can level up enough to be able to enter a dungeon full of more powerful, the same monster only with a green tint!
I did like it! But i just couldn't put enough time in.

I only recently started playing it, but not online. I loved Diablo, played it until my fingers bled, so I just had to get Diablo II.
Out of morbid curiosity, does anyone know a good site for D2 hack & editors? For the Mac!! All the sites I seem to find are for Windows, and the .exe apps just don't like to run under OS X. ;-)
Think what you will about me looking for hacks - I don't play online, so what I do to my own character in no way affects those who DO game online. I'm really just impatient - I don't have the time to do the extreme dungeon-crawl-beat-the-same-monsters-a-million-times-to-gain-exp. I more or less want to up the pace I'm currently playing at.
I've actually had the game for over a month, and I'm not even out of Act I yet. :cry:

Ahhhhh D2, probably the greatest all time rpg non mmorpg. Just gotta love it. I don't play anymore, mostly because my full nat's set for my assassin got ripped off, by my best friend no less. oh well.
