Wow, I've seen some amazing colouring/artistic skills in here. I feel ashamed to put mine up here too... As you can probebly see, I'm new to Applegeeks and my first post goes here! Yay! This is the first time I have used photoshop, so don't laugh! I really enjoyed colouring the picture, think I have found a new small hobby to do in my free time. Comments to improve will be appreciated, thanks. ^^

Not quite done yet, still need a background, and I have no clue how to properly shade hair, so I'm holding off on touching the hair. This is the first image I've ever colored, and for how much I've finished at this point I'm happy with how it's turned out. C&C more than welcomed. Tips for shading hair would be much appreciated!

I don't mean to stray off-topic, but I figure a message here is more likely to get to the user than a private message: your sig picture is too large for the forums, NiaTraps.

Here is my attempt: I didn't really stick to the colors that much (as if Hawk would color this) but I think it came out really well. I was going for more of a pop-art style. Kind of like those stickers you would see on that back of a car window. What do you think? PS. Sorry, but damn ImageShack and Photobucket both make the image pixelized... but I guess this will have to do.

I downloaded the image to work on coloring but couldn't find the line break so when I tried applying a base color, it kept filling in the whole painting. Any ideas...maybe I should get illustrator :-P

StateofAffairs: What program are you working in? Gabriel: the shirt and the hair are a teensy bit flat, but the background is freakin' awesome. HitcH: I am entranced by the glowingness... aaron: It's definitely different. ... This part of the forums is a bit dead, no? Time to get things going again, me thinks.
