I've been wanting to get this game since it came out but I have been playing Halo 3 so much I don't really have the time. I'll probably pick it up around Christmas time and play through the singleplayer. The game looks amazing.

Too bad you have it on the PS3 or I would play with you. :/

If you were a fan of CoD4:MW, I think you'll be really happy with this one.  The campaign is pretty short (completed in about 5 hours) but a good story and some nice story twists.  Then there are the Special Ops maps (more arcade style), but the online is absolutely amazing. 

Pretty sure you'll like it.  Definitely lives up to the hype.

Oh. That sucks. I'm surprised a Microsoft SWAT team didn't drop down from his ceiling and take his 360 away after connecting it to the internet. :p

Sneaky bastards sent a patch that checked the firmware on the console lol. So it wasn't even from playing a burnt game. I just logged into live and it immediately banned me. I'm sure they did it during this period so they could up their sales during the holiday season.

Ah well..I hadn't been playing much...and was actually gonna buy MW2. It'll happen some time soon

Please note, thats not a slam on the X360 (lots of great titles, actually), I just believe that Bill Gates is Satan.

This is the anti-pirate in me... but when you mod a console, you know the risks of doing it, yes it sucks, but it's your own fault.

Oh I completely agree. I don't hate MS for doing what they did. I just wish I had remembered to unplug the ethernet cable from the xbox before turning it on. At least until the new firmware is released.

You would've forgotten eventually if  you wanted to test out MW2 online.

The new modern warfare is awesome, however I do have one complaint When Im playing this game it feels as if Im playing Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 with new maps. Its exactly the same tone. Call of Duty Black Ops was MUCH better. Also, there are no zombies.. sure endless waves of dummies.. but dummies are not zombies.
