Just downloaded the Chrome beta.

It really is underdeveloped and I would suggest waiting a while before using it.

Just something I found interesting and hilarious.

Internet service providers or employers that track the pages you visit
Malicious software that tracks your keystrokes in exchange for free smileys
Surveillance by secret agents
People standing behind you
Love the last 2.

And here I was looking forward to Chrome coming out on the Mac too.... guess I'll just wait till it's out of beta to try it out.

It's not to bad as a browser, but they warn heavily against consumer usage, its more of a developer test I think.

Here are a few fun facts from us on the Google Chrome for Mac team:

29 developer builds
1,177 Mac-specific bugs fixed
12 external committers and bug editors to the Google Chrome for Mac code base, 48 external code contributors
64 Mac Minis doing continuous builds and tests
8,760 cups of soft drinks and coffee consumed
4,380 frosted mini-wheats eaten

The Last 2 are brilliant!

I've tried it now and I have to say that my user experience would be 100% better if it would import my bookmarks from either firefox or safari without crashing.  ... and a bookmark organizer would be helpful... well at least if I had bookmarks.

My only lament about Chrome is lack of support across a few sites.  One of my school's sites (and now technically my work) doesn't support Chrome which was rather irritating trying to check my grade in my music class all through last semester because I would have to switch back to Firefox for it, and Chrome is my default browser.  While it's not Chrome's fault that most sites consider it an X-graded browser, for now anyway, it's still annoying.
