Need help with a title

I know that I'm not the only one that this happens to.  I've got a bad memory and I often have trouble remembering the title and author of books I've read.  For the most part, if you remember a plot point or character, you can google it and find out what it is.  However, that's not always the case.  This thread can be for those that are looking for a book, but can only remember certain aspects.  Things that can't be googled, but could be enough info for someone else to recognize.

So, there was this book I read as a kid.  It was about this cruise ship-like boat, I think, shaped like a plesiasaurus and the only memorable thing I can come up with is this large two-paged spread of the entire ship showing each compartment and people doing their job or just enjoying these different rooms.  Kind of like the scene in "Life Aquatic" where they show they cut-view of the ship and all the crew members.  Anyone familiar with this?
