I've been meaning to try my hand at short stories, and I'd like some insight on this. Let me know what you think:
It's present day. An older, female P.I. and her fresh-out-of-school tech specialist just got invited to a potential client's place. Only his place is off the mortal coil and in a more fiery, burning-tar, fire-and-brimstone type of coil (get where I'm going with this?). He wants to hire these two to track down and recapture seven demons who have escapsed to the living realm. More specifically, the seven demons of the Seven Deadly Sins. They have until the winter solstice -- just kidding, as long as they need -- to recapture them. The longer they are on Earth, however, the more damage to society will be done.
Let me know. Please, no thought theft. I recognize the risks I just took, but I figured why not?
Why do all these fiction stories have to include the winter solstice anyways?
