it's not my firewall or internet setting and i use Internet Explorer im in the U.S.A so i should be able to access the comic archives but it won't let me. it says that my internet explorer was able to connect to the website but does not have permission to veiw the webpage which makes no sense because i have logged onto the comic archives in the past with no problem, also if i can log on to the forum and the applegeeks lite archives why can't i access the main comic archives, so annoying. times like these i wish my computer skills involved more than just websurfing and video games.

This is going to be a bitch to track down as not everyone is having the problem. Assuming those that are having this issue are running Windows, get me the output of the following set of actions:

1. Windows+r to get a Run dialog
2. Type in cmd and hit enter
3. At the prompt in the command window type without quotes "telnet www.applegeeks.com 80" and hit enter
4. Type without quotes "GET /comics/viewcomic.php?issue=494 HTTP/1.1" and hit enter. You may not see what you are typing
5. Type without quotes "Host: www.applegeeks.com" and hit enter twice

Copy and send me the ouput.
