Hey guys, I'm having a little bit of a problem since I upgraded to Leopard and CS3 and it's driving me nuts. The biggest problem is how I always get this message sometimes when I try opening or saving certain files:

"Could not complete your request because an unexpected end-of-file was encountered."

Does anyone have an idea of what I should do?

Some how I don't think this has anything to do with the registry since he's using Leopard.

What version of PS were the images originally saved/created in and what format/s?

A reinstall of PS may help, can't hurt to try. : )

This is not a problem with Photoshop, whatever version you may have. The error results from either an incomplete save or a corrupted block of information during said save. That said, uninstalling and reinstalling PS won't do anything.

There are apparently some applications that are able to remedy this, but I have absolutely no idea what they are, unfortunately.

The specific file you are trying to import maybe corrupted. As far as CS2 is concern.

Can you save the file from Capture One or Breeze Browser as TIF? Then import it to your CS2. See what happens.
