Hi guys, and thanks for your responses regarding my desktop.

To clear a few things up (namely - what everything is...)

Winamp - At the top right, it's docked to the top of the screen and slides out whenever the mouse is placed over it.

ObjectDockPlus - At the top centre of the screen. Again, mouseover causes it to slide out.

Rainmeter - top right. Embedded into the desktop (that is, you can't drag it around by accident). Kinda large but I like having some of the information there and the skin was customised to be as low-profile as possible.

Rainlander - centre right. I couldn't ask for anything more in a calendar application.

And of course the Windows task bar along the bottom of the screen, nothing special about it aside from the custom skin.

Rainmeter and Rainlander can be found here: http://www.ipi.fi/~rainy/index.php

The background can be found here:

Hope this answers any questions, thanks for your comments Smiley

My desktop is boring.

But at least it's speedy.

Winamp can slide out? o_O  Do you have some sort of plugin for that, or is it a 3.x skin feature?

No plug in - it's a skin feature. The skin in question is called NonStep and can be found here: http://www.topdownloads.org/winamp/view.php?id=105

That said - you can try it for yourself if you have Winamp 5 or greater - the modern skin has an option to dock it to any side of the screen and have it slide out on a mouseover. NonStep (for me) builds on that. It's not a pretty interface really but it has an incredibly small file size and everything is accessable.

Hope that helps Smiley

I know, I know...its a PC! ARGH! I am ashamed...hopefully the Applegeeks wallpaper and Quicktime will make up for it...

Geo: Sorry to trouble you, but could you maybe shrink that to 1024x768 for me? I'd really appreciate it. That wallpaper rox0rz.
